COMMITTED TO LEAD AND TO SERVE GOD'S PEOPLE
The enthusiastic leader of the Jimtown Baptist Church, Rev. Wendell L. Lewis
possesses a humble spirit, a hunger for the Word of God and has a heart to
serve God's people. In December 2003 Rev. Lewis became the Under shepherd
of The Jimtown Missionary Baptist Church where more than 60 souls have been
added to the kingdom of God as well as the membership of the church.
Pastor Lewis received his Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting with a Minor in
Speech and Business. He is a bi-vocational Pastor who currently works at Toyota
Motor Manufacturing, U.S.A. as an Investigative Specialist for Human Resources.
He has a passionate preaching style and he is also willing to use his own life
experiences to teach principles from the Word of God. His
preaching style convicts and comforts those who have a desire to be transformed
and empowered by the Word of God .
As a strong leader he is loyal, willing to lead by example and willing to listen to the
concerns of God's people. He is an excellent leader but he has no problem being
a faithful follower of God. Recognizing that being under the authority of God puts
him in the position to receive the wisdom that is required to guide His people.
He and his wife Joycelyn are the proud parents of two children, and four God
daughters.

follow to develop an intimate walk with God through Jesus the Christ and the
power of the Holy Spirit.
